DALY CITY, CA (December 2, 2024) — One person died in a car accident on the 280 Freeway near Eastmoor Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal car crash happened around 11:13 p.m. Thursday. For an unknown reason, a car described as a white Honda hatchback crashed on Interstate 280 North in Daly City. Due to the crash, all northbound lanes were blocked around 11:13 p.m. South of Highway 1 before officers reopened the road around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
