1 Dies in Multi-Car Crash on 580 Freeway in Oakland
OAKLAND, CA (September 11, 2024) — One person died in a multi-car accident on the 580 Freeway near Seminary Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol Oakland office, the deadly collision happened around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, roughly two to three cars crashed on the eastbound 580 Interstate. Subsequently, CHP officers and a Coroner responded to the scene due to a fatality.
