Motorcyclist Killed in Big Tujunga Canyon Road Crash in Tujunga

 
TUJUNGA, CA (November 27, 2023) — One person died in a motorcycle crash on Big Tujunga Canyon Road near Ottie Road on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle accident occurred around 12:50 p.m. For an unknown reason, a motorcyclist crashed in the 3500 block of Big Tujunga Canyon Road. Soon after, CHP officers arrived and issued a SigAlert for the north and southbound lanes at North Trail Canyon Road.
 
Due to the incident, the victim suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. However, officials did not release the person’s name pending notification of next of kin.
 
By 4:40 p.m., officials partially reopened the road in both directions.
 
At this time, authorities do not have an explanation for the accident. However, they are looking into the details to identify the factors.
