1 Killed in Motorcycle Crash near Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (October 16, 2024) — One person died in a motorcycle accident near Palm Canyon Drive and Golf Club Drive.
 
According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the deadly motorcycle accident happened around 8:15 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a motorcycle collided with a driver in Palm Springs.
 
Subsequently, Palm Springs Police and Palm Springs Fire Department Personnel responded to the scene and administered life-saving efforts. However, their efforts fell short, and the victim passed away at the scene.
 
Officials have not identified the victim.
 
According to an investigation on site, authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs factored into the cause. Due to the accident, crews closed East Palm Canyon Drive between Broadmoor Drive and Cree Road.
