1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Rollover Accident on 10 Freeway in Whitewater

 
WHITEWATER, CA (July 17, 2023) — One person died in a rollover crash on the 10 Freeway near Haugen-Lehmann Way.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly rollover accident happened around 2:40 p.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, at least one car crashed on the freeway.
 
One vehicle, described as a black Ford Explorer went airborne before rolling over and landing upright on the right-hand side of the freeway.
 
Moments later, a corner responded to the scene, and paramedics tended to two people who suffered major to moderate injuries.
 
Due to the crash, the lanes were shut down until 3:30 p.m. when crews reopened the freeway.
 
Authorities did not say what led to the crash, but if anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
