Kara Nunez

Associate Attorney

Kara Nunez, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at The Law Offices of Daniel Kim. Kara’s previous litigation experience includes bad faith insurance litigation and family law. She has years of experience counseling and advocating for clients through life’s most challenging moments. Kara also teaches Civil Procedure and Legal Research courses at the University of California, Irvine. 

In 2018, she was the recipient of the Distinguished Instructor Award from the University’s Department of Continuing Education. Kara consistently receives rave reviews for her responsiveness and ability to walk learners through the litigation process. 

Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. While attending Loyola, Kara was a staff writer for the Entertainment Law Review and later served as a Note and Comment Editor. It was here that she also earned her certification in Mediation. 

Through her litigation and teaching experience, Kara is known for her geniality and compassion for others. She has a strong sense of justice and isn’t afraid to stand up for others. 

In addition to practicing and teaching law, Kara is a dedicated wife and mother of three. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and dancing.
