2 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Eureka
EUREKA, CA (November 6, 2024) — Two people were injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 101 near Bayside Cutoff.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-car crash happened on the northbound side of Highway 101 between Eureka and Arcata. CHP officers responded to the 8:53 a.m. crash Friday to find three cars involved, including a Ford Expedition found on its side with a blown tire.
Two people reported unknown injuries in the accident and sought hospital care.
By 9:30 a.m., the flow of traffic slowly returned to normal.
At the time of the report, traffic investigators did not indicate the leading cause of the crash. However, an investigation should reveal the cause.
