27-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Highway 60 in Chino

 
CHINO, CA (October 22, 2024) – Daniel Magana was killed in a pedestrian accident in Chino Friday evening on October 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 60. According to the California Highway Patrol, Magana was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
Magana suffered fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 27-year-old Covina resident.
 
It was unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash. It was also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
 
An investigation into this fatality is still under investigation.
