Jason McQueary Booked, Carlie Rose Dies in DUI 2-Car Crash on Seminole Drive at Malki Road
CABAZON, CA (October 14, 2024) — Jason McQueary faces gross vehicular manslaughter charges following a deadly DUI two-car accident on Seminole Drive at Malki Road.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies, the incident started on October 4. Upon spotting a wrong-way driver on Seminole Drive, officers tried to pull the motorist over. However, 48-year-old McQueary fled from law enforcement and a chase ensued, reaching at a high speed. Subsequently, McQueary’s vehicle slammed into a car at a stop sign, driven by 23-year-old Carlie Rose.
The two-car accident claimed Rose’s life, devastating and outraging her family. Reports say she had just returned from her honeymoon after marrying her middle school sweetheart.
Following the collision, officers arrested McQueary for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. However, he was released on bail the next day.
