Hit-and-Run Crash on D Street in Victorville Sends Bicyclist to Hospital

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 7, 2024) – A woman was airlifted in a bicycle hit-and-run crash on D Street in Victorville Tuesday afternoon on August 6.
 
The crash happened around 2:14 p.m. in the 17100 block of D Street, just near Emma Jean’s Holland Burger Cafe. According to the Victorville Police Department, the victim was riding her bicycle south on D Street when she was clipped by a vehicle.
 
After the crash, the driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Responding firefighters requested a medical helicopter. The victim was then airlifted to a trauma center in an unknown condition.
 
An investigation is ongoing. Police asked anyone with further information to call them at 760-241-2911.
