Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Pedestrian Accident on Cole Avenue near Santa Monica Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 24, 2024) – An 84-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Cole Avenue, Thursday evening.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on May 23, at about 6:35 p.m. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of Cole Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics later transported the victim to a hospital, where she remains in serious condition.
As per reports, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene and failed to render aid. Investigators described the suspect vehicle as a possible 2004-2010 four-door black Pontiac with rear tinted windows and a missing front license plate.
