Two Cars Collide, One Rolls Over on Highway 178 in Bakerfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 25, 2024) – One person was hospitalized in a rollover accident on Highway 178 in Bakersfield Tuesday afternoon on April 23.
 
The accident happened around 3:55 p.m. at Union Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Ford pickup truck and a white Scion xD collided, causing the Scion to roll over down a 50 feet embankment.
 
Paramedics responded and took one person to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
One of the drivers was not injured.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and factors involved.
