According to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, the solo-car crash happened on Chileno Valley Road outside of Petaluma. For possible speed-related reasons, a vehicle carrying four males lost control and crashed. At some point during the impact, a 16-year-old boy was ejected from the wreckage.
Moments after, the Sonoma County Fire District responded and began treating the victims, including the 16-year-old who was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Two 19-year-olds and a 16-year-old suffered unknown injuries, as well.
