PALMDALE, CA (December 18, 2023) — Michael Avila died in a two-car accident on Avenue S near Sheffield Drive Wednesday night.
 
According to the Palmdale Police Station, the fatal 2-car crash happened around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, 22-year-old Michael Isaiah Avila allowed his eastbound 1984 Ford Mustang to swerve from the right lane into the westbound left-turn lane. Subsequently, his Ford crashed into a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe facing west in the left turn lane.
 
Due to the accident, Avila passed away in the crash. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has recently identified him as the driver.
