Early Morning Crash Involving Two Vehicles on 605 Freeway in Alamitos Leaves 1 Person Dead

 
LOS ALAMITOS, CA (October 15, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 605 Freeway in Los Alamitos early Saturday morning on October 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:50 a.m. at the Katella Avenue off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black vehicle struck a white vehicle, causing it to go off the off-ramp. said.
 
One person was trapped inside the white vehicle and another person was ejected.
 
CHP officers confirmed one fatality as a result of the crash. They withheld the victim’s identity at this time.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
