Child Riding Bicycle Suffers Serious Head Injuries on Ocean View Boulevard in Logan Heights

 
LOGAN HEIGHTS, CA (August 7, 2023) – A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured in a bicycle accident at Ocean View Boulevard and 29th Street in Logan Heights on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened shortly before 2:00 p.m. on August 2, just near Memorial Park. According to the San Diego Police Department, the child was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle.
 
First responders found the child conscious and breathing, but was bleeding from the head. They took him to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
The driver stayed at the scene, according to police.
