Driver Leaves Hit-and-Run 2-Car Crash at 7th Street in Eureka
EUREKA, CA (July 11, 2023) — A driver fled a hit-and-run 2-car accident at 7th Street and H Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car crash happened around 11:10 p.m. on July 5. For an unknown reason, a dark-colored Dodge Ram struck a Kia near the intersection. At some point during the accident, the traffic signal sheared off from the base and toppled onto the street.
Following the crash, the Dodge Ram driver fled on foot, wearing a white T-shirt with dark jeans and heading south on H Street.
Although the Kia sustained significant damage, neither the driver nor any possible occupants involved reported any injuries.
During the investigation, officials learned that the Dodge Ram was stolen from a woman prior.
No further information on this crash was available.
