RANCHO CORDOVA, CA (March 9, 2023) — A driver was injured after a train crashed into a truck on Folsom Boulevard and Mather Field Road.
 
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the accident happened around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a light rail train crashed into a black Ford truck pushing it into a utility pole. The driver of the pickup suffered minor to moderate injuries in the crash. Information surrounding what led to the crash is unavailable. However, we will update this report with more information.
