Woman Hurt, Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach

 
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (February 28, 2023) — A woman remains hospitalized following a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Garnet Avenue near Mission Bay Drive.
 
According to San Diego Police, the hit-and-run pedestrian crash happened around 1:24 a.m. Monday. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a woman in the 2900 block of Garnet Avenue near Mission Bay Drive but left the scene, leaving the victim with serious injuries.

Although no witnesses were present, a bystander found the unresponsive woman lying in the street. Paramedics transported her to Scripps La Jolla Hospital shortly thereafter.
 
As of 9:00 a.m. Monday, her condition was unknown.
