At Least 1 Hospitalized, Motorcycle and Car Accident on 5 Freeway in Gorman

 
GORMAN, CA (August 19, 2022) — At least one person was injured after a motorcycle and a car crashed on the 5 Freeway near Highway 138.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcycle collision happened around 7:53 p.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, the motorcyclist crashed into at least one car on the 5 North Freeway just north of Highway 138.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and requested a helicopter to land on the highway to take one person to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, drivers faced nearly an hour of traffic on the northbound side while an investigation took place.
