81-Year-Old Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident at Turner Drive and Commercial Avenue [Tulare, CA]

Woman Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle on Turner Drive in Tulare

 
TULARE, CA (May 16, 2022) – An 81-year-old woman was died in a two-vehicle accident on Turner Drive in Tulare on Saturday morning, May 14.
 
The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection with Commercial Avenue. According to the Tulare Police Department, the woman drove through a stop sign to enter the intersection. A second vehicle traveling southbound on Turner Drive then struck her car.
 
When officers arrived, they found the woman pinned inside her car and was unresponsive.
 
Officers and EMS personnel tried to revive her, but she died at the scene.
 
Police said the occupants of the other vehicle cooperated with the investigation.
 
Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.
