17-Year-Old Hospitalized after Mini Motorcycle Accident on Buena Vista Road in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 25, 2022) – A 17-year-old rider sustained injuries in a mini motorcycle accident on Buena Vista Road on Wednesday evening.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident happened on March 23 at about 8:00 p.m. As per reports, the teen was riding an off-road mini motorcycle that did not have headlights.
 
A short time later, a pickup truck hit the teen rider near Rotherfield Place.
 
Emergency crews then transported the teen to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
