Minor Injuries in Wrong-Way Accident on 15 Freeway near North Cajon Boulevard in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (March 22, 2022) – Two people needed hospitalization after a wrong-way accident on 15 Freeway, late Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 17 at about 11:21 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a black SUV was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes.
 
Then, the SUV collided with another vehicle near North Cajon Boulevard. The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn. As per reports, the other vehicle sustained significant damage and came to rest facing the wrong way.
 
Emergency crews transported two people to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Responders temporarily closed North Cajon Boulevard to make way for a tow truck.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
