FRESNO, CA (January 20, 2022) – A man is now in critical condition following a pedestrian accident on Shaw Avenue on January 19.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Palm Avenue at approximately 6:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the man was crossing the road near the Fig Garden Village Shopping Center at the time of the crash. At the same time, a car was traveling on the road. Due to unknown reasons, it struck the victim. Officers said the man was not using the crosswalk at that time.
 
As a result, the man suffered serious injuries in the incident. Immediately, officers transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.
