Eric Croft Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Washington Street near Highway 299

 
WEAVERVILLE, CA (December 15, 2021) — Eric Croft suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Washington Street near Highway 299, Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 6:04 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a dark metallic gray pickup struck 54-year-old Croft. Due to the impact, the pedestrian was sent in a northeasterly direction and landed on the ground. Meanwhile, the driver continued northbound on Washington Street.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and brought Croft to Trinity General with head and leg injuries.
