Woman, Children Hospitalized in Car Accident on Auberry Road

 
AUBERRY, CA (December 9, 2021) — A woman and children were injured in a car accident on Auberry Road near Ventana Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2-car crash happened as a Honda driver tried passing up two cars. In doing so, the motorist attempted to evade an oncoming vehicle in the northbound lane. However, the Honda collided with a Toyota in the southbound lanes.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, a 41-year-old female driving the Toyota suffered serious injuries. Meanwhile, two children passengers in her car suffered minor injuries.
 
As for the uninjured Honda driver, it’s unclear whether the police cited that person. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
