5 People Hurt in Summerland Rollover Crash on Highway 101

 
SUMMERLAND, CA (December 9, 2021) — Five people were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 101 near Jameson Lane on Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved only one vehicle on the southbound lane of the highway. For unknown reasons, a woman from West Hills lost control of her 2019 Chevy Silverado. As a result, the pickup went off the road into a construction zone, struck a sign and rolled over several times down a large embankment.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and brought the female driver, a 79-year-old woman and three juveniles to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
 
At this time, the victims’ condition remains unknown. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
