One Person Dies in Thousand Oaks Accident with Tree on Hillcrest Drive

 
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (September 7, 2021) — One person died in a crash with a tree on Hillcrest Drive near Citation Way last Wednesday.
 
According to a fatal traffic collision report, the incident occurred around 10:09 p.m. Under speed-related conditions, a vehicle carrying five people left the road on Hillcrest Drive and slammed into a tree.
 
As a result, all occupants of the car sustained serious injuries, beckoning paramedics to respond to the scene. While a team brought the driver and two passengers to Los Robles Hospital, another brought the two other passengers to Ventura County Medical Center.
 
However, one of the transported patients succumbed to his or her injuries.
