SAN JACINTO, CA (July 12, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on Ramona Expressway in San Jacinto Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 9:47 p.m. on July 11, at Sanderson Avenue. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the pedestrian was either walking or standing at the intersection when a vehicle struck them.
 
The pedestrian suffered significant injuries from the impact and died before paramedics arrived, fire officials said.
 
At this time, there were no details about the victim’s identity or the driver and vehicle.
 
This fatal accident is still under investigation.
