Two-Vehicle Accident near 30th Street in Palmdale Leaves 1 Driver Dead

 
PALMDALE, CA (July 6, 2021) – A 65-year-old man died in a two-vehicle accident near 30th Street West and Montera Avenue Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 2:25 p.m. on July 2. According to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, a white Porsche Cayenne was traveling southbound on 30th Street West when it and collided into a Green Ford Mustang, which was making a left turn onto Montera Avenue.
 
As a result, the 65-year-old Palmdale man driving the Mustang died at the scene. His name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.
 
The driver of the Cayenne, a 49-year-old Palmdale man, sustained minor injuries.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Officials asked anyone with further information to call Palmdale Station’s Traffic Department at 661-272-2400.
