7-Year-Old Natalie Tellez Killed in Thousand Palms Accident on 10 Freeway near Monterey Avenue

 
THOUSAND PALMS, CA (June 15, 2021) — Natalie Tellez died in a car crash on the 10 Freeway near Monterey Avenue Sunday morning.
 
According to reports, the fatal accident occurred around 1:52 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a vehicle with a blown-out tire crashed on the eastbound 10 Freeway. As a result, a person in the car sustained a hand injury and 7-year-old Tellez sustained severe wounds.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and transported the child to Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. However, Tellez succumbed to her injuries despite having received life-saving efforts.
 
As of now, reports have not confirmed the ultimate cause and circumstances of the crash. Although, anyone with additional information should contact The California Highway Patrol.
