Pedestrian Dies in Morning Train Accident near Ridgecrest Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 7, 2021) – A man died in a train accident near Ridgecrest Road and Bear Valley Road in Victorville Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 8:04 a.m. on June 6, on the railroad tracks near the area overpass. BNSF Railroad police said the male pedestrian was in the tracks when the train struck him.
 
As a result, the victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Bernardino County Coroner officials will release his identity once next of kin is notified.
 
No additional information was available at this time. The accident is under investigation.
