69-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized in Pedestrian Crash on El Cajon Boulevard

SAN DIEGO, CA (May 24, 2021) — A 69-year-old woman suffered a fractured skull in a pedestrian accident on El Cajon Boulevard near 54th Street Saturday night.

According to San Diego Police, the pedestrian crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a 33-year-old driver of an eastbound Toyota Corolla struck the woman as she was crossing El Cajon Boulevard in an unmarked crosswalk.

As a result of the accident, the woman suffered a skull fracture and other life-threatening injuries.
