Marcelo Pereira Killed in Motorcycle Accident on South Grade Road [Pauma Valley, CA]

Motorcyclist Die after Struck by Car on South Grade Road in Pauma Valley

 
PAUMA VALLEY, CA (April 14, 2021) – Marcelo Oliva Santos Pereira died Saturday in a motorcycle crash on South Grade Road in Pauma Valley.
 
The accident happened just before noon on April 10. According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Lexus had crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic and struck an eastbound motorcycle driven by the 50-year-old El Cajon man.
 
The impact ejected Pereira from his bike. He suffered fatal major injuries and died at Palomar Medical Center.
 
It is unknown if the driver of the Lexus sustained any injuries.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
