Bennie Foronda Dies in Shafter Crash near 7th Standard Road and Zerker Road

 
SHAFTER, CA (April 20, 2021) — Bennie Foronda died in an accident with a semi-truck near 7th Standard Road and Zerker Road Monday, April 5.
 
According to Shafter police, the fatal crash happened around 11:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a semi-truck and a vehicle, driven by the 61-year-old, collided.
 
As a result of the impact, the car overturned several times, killing Foronda in the accident.
 
At this time, police have no information on the ultimate cause of the collision. However, if anyone has more insight, please call the Shafter police at this time.
