Man Hospitalized in Bakersfield DUI Pedestrian Accident on White Lane

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 19, 2021) — A man was injured in a DUI pedestrian accident on White Lane near Highway 99 Wednesday night.
 
According to police, the accident took place around 8:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, an alleged DUI driver struck the man in the 2600 block of White Lane.
 
Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and transported the victim to a hospital in life-threatening condition. Based on the investigation, police determined that the accident happened outside of a pedestrian crosswalk.
