Deadly Hit-and-Run Accident at Melrose Avenue and Ardmore Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 9, 2021) – One person was killed Friday morning after a hit-and-run accident on Melrose Avenue in the East Hollywood area.
 
This fatal hit-and-run accident happened around 5:05 a.m. near Ardmore Avenue, just the end of the southbound 101 Freeway off-ramp.
 
CHP officials did not provide details of how the accident occurred but they confirmed one fatality as a result.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
Crews closed Melrose Avenue off-ramp while they worked on the scene. They reopened the roadway around 6:30 a.m.
 
The full circumstances of this hit-and-run accident remain under investigation.
