Two Semi Trucks Overturn on 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar Killing One Person

 
DIAMOND BAR, CA (February 20, 2025) – One person was killed in a semi truck rollover on 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar early Thursday morning on February 20.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly after 4:00 a.m. near the 57 Freeway interchange. According to the California Highway Patrol, two tanker trucks collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused both trucks to overturn on its side, spilling concrete onto the freeway.
 
Los Angeles County firefighters responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene. Whether the victim was a driver of one of the big rigs was unclear.
 
Another person suffered unspecified injuries.
 
Crews issued a SigAlert in the area, closing three lanes of the connector road from the eastbound 60 Freeway and the northbound 57 Freeway for an unknown duration.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
