Two Vehicles Collide on Avenue 52 in Indio Injuring Three People

 
INDIO, CA (January 22, 2025) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Avenue 52 in Indio Tuesday evening on January 21.
 
The crash was reported just before 5:00 p.m. at Jackson Street. According to CalFire, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters responded to the scene and found several people trapped in the wreckage.
 
After approximately twenty minutes, firefighters were able to free three patients, who suffered moderate injuries.
 
All three patients were transported to local area hospitals for treatment.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved are still under investigation.
