Two Sedans Collide on 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley Killing At Least One Person

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (January 8, 2025) – At least one person died in a two-car accident on the 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley Tuesday morning on January 7.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:45 a.m. on just east of Etiwanda Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white sedan collided with another sedan along the eastbound lanes of the freeway.
 
When officers arrived, they located the white sedan facing sideways across lanes and the second sedan on the right shoulder.
 
They also confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash.
 
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
