1 Injured After Suspect Crashes Car into Pole During Police Chase near Clovis Avenue in Fresno County

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 24, 2024) — A suspect was injured during a police chase crash at Clovis Avenue and Jefferson Avenue.
 
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the incident first occurred around 2:30 a.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies tried to pull over a suspect at Clinton and Cedar. Subsequently, the driver took off instead of complying, which transpired into a police chase.
 
Moments later, the driver struck a curb at Jefferson Avenue and Clovis Avenue and struck a pole. From there, the chase concluded, and paramedics took the suspect to Community Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
