1 Injured in Bicycle Crash at Grand Avenue in Ojai

 
OJAI, CA (April 24, 2024) — A man sustained minor injuries in a bicycle accident at Grand Avenue and Fulton Street.
 
According to the Ventura County Fire Department, the bicycle crash happened around 8:42 a.m. Tuesday. For an unknown reason, a man crossing the street on his bicycle collided with a BMW M240i. Subsequently, the motorist stopped the vehicle and began rendering aid to the victim and his dog.
 
Soon after, Ventura County Fire Department paramedics arrived and took over before taking the victim to Community Memorial Hospital-Ojai for treatment of minor injuries. Fortunately, the dog dodged injury.
 
According to reports, the victim suffered bruises, bumps and abrasions along the body. Authorities did not release an explanation for the accident. However, they will explore all possible factors to identify the cause.
