Deadly Big Rig Crash on Highway 166 in Maricopa

 
MARICOPA, CA (September 25, 2024) — At least one person died in a semitrailer accident on Highway 166 near Hudson Ranch Road.
 
The California Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash around 3:43 p.m. Monday. Upon arriving, authorities learned that a semi-trailer and a white pickup collided.
 
Authorities confirmed one fatality. However, they did not release the victim’s name or specify the manner or cause of the collision.
 
After the accident, authorities closed the road until 4:30 p.m. to investigate.
