1 Dead in Motorcycle Crash at Long Beach Boulevard in Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (March 22, 2024) — A person died in a motorcycle accident at Long Beach Boulevard and 8th Street.
 
According to Long Beach Police, the fatal accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a motorcyclist collided with a Metro A Blue Line train. Subsequently, Long Beach police arrived and rendered life-saving efforts on the victim until Long Beach Fire Department paramedics arrived. However, in spite of taking over to help the victim, medics pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
 
At this time, officials have not released the individual’s name. However, we will update this report once we acquire further details.
