Driver Leaves After Striking Tables at Hillhurst Avenue Cafe in Los Feliz

 
LOS FELIZ, CA (July 1, 2024) — No one reported an injury after a hit-and-run driver struck a café’s outdoor seating at Hillhurst Avenue near Clarissa Avenue.
 
According to reports, an unidentified driver in a pickup truck crashed into the outdoor seating of Mustard Seed Cafe on Hillhurst Avenue. Subsequently, the truck, seen on a dash cam footage, somehow navigates the sidewalk and around stationary vehicles — some occupied — only to leave the scene with a trail of debris.
 
Fortunately, no one reported any harm, including Brad Vassar sitting a couple of feet away from the impact.
 
Following the incident, police responded an hour later but did not file a police report.
