27-Year-Old Bryan Rodriguez-Duran Dead after Yuba City DUI Crash

YUBA CITY, CA (June 4, 2024) – Authorities identified 27-year-old Bryan Alejandro Rodriguez-Duran of Colusa as the man killed in a suspected DUI crash on Highway 20, Sunday evening.

According to the Yuba City Police Department, the incident happened on June 2, at about 8:42 p.m. A white Honda Crosstour reportedly drove through a stop sign and began traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 20.

A short time later, the Honda collided head-on with a Ford F150 near El Margarita Road.

Emergency responders transported six Ford occupants to Adventist Rideout Hospital and Sutter Roseville Hospital. One of the occupants taken to Adventist Rideout Hospital, Rodriguez-Duran, was later pronounced dead.

The Honda driver, identified as 39-year-old Chloe Tokuno-Fraley, and her 4-year-old passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators suspect Tokuno-Fraley of driving under the influence of alcohol. Yuba City police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
