Aaron Dillon Dies in Head-On Motorcycle Crash on Skyway near Powellton Road

 
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (July 1, 2024) — Aaron Dillon died in a head-on motorcycle accident on Skyway near Powellton Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash happened Thursday at 7:00 p.m. For an unknown reason, a juvenile from Magalia was riding his motorcycle southbound in the northbound lanes of Skyway. Meanwhile, 31-year-old Dillon, of Stirling City, drove into the northbound lane before the motorcycles collided head-on.
 
Due to his injuries, Dillon passed away at Enloe Hospital at around 3:00 a.m. Friday. As for the juvenile, paramedics took him to UC Davis Medical Center for further treatment.
 
Authorities did not confirm the cause of the crash or if speeding, DUI or distracted driving factored into the accident.
