Three-Vehicle Crash on Amargosa Road in Victorville Leaves 1 Driver Dead

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 30, 2024) – Elizabeth Faamaligi was killed in a three-vehicle accident in Victorville Thursday afternoon on June 27.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:16 p.m. at the intersection of Amargosa Road and Eucalyptus Street. According to the Victorville Police Department, a silver Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Amargosa Road behind a gray Kia Sorrento. A white BMW 328d suddenly entered their lane, leading to the crash.
 
Witnesses told officers that the BMW had exited from the memorial park, possibly mistaking the roadway as having a turning lane. It attempted to veer back into the correct lane prior to the crash.
 
Faamaligi suffered critical injuries from the crash and died at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She was a 55-year-old Victorville resident, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office. She was the driver of the Kia.
