Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Rigoletto Drive in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (August 22, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash at Rigoletto Drive and Brahms Avenue in East San Jose early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:54 a.m. on August 22. Police said an unknown type of vehicle was traveling westbound on Rigoletto Drive when it struck an adult male pedestrian that was walking across the street. The driver then fled the scene immediately after the crash.
 
The pedestrian died at the scene. The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office will release his identity once next of kin is properly notified.
 
Police believe the suspect car should be similar to a 2006-2008 Acura TSX 4 door sedan, with possible damage to the front end.
