Fiery Head-On Accident Occurs on 15 Freeway in Mira Loma

 
MIRA LOMA, CA (March 8, 2021) – A wrong-way driver caused a head-on accident on 15 Freeway on March 3.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road around 3:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, an SUV was travelling southbound in the northbound lanes prior to the crash. Subsequently, it slammed head-on into a big rig. Immediately, the semi and its trailer caught fire in the incident.
 
It was not clear if there were injuries in the crash.
 
As a result, crews closed all northbound lanes of the freeway, urging drivers to find alternate routes.
